What’s needed

Due to exceptional growth in Microsoft Modern Workplace, we’re looking for a Microsoft 365 Developer to join the team. This person will be a passionate IT graduate looking to kickstart their career in a great business. They will be motivated, enthusiastic to learn and ideally have a passion for Microsoft.

You’ll have:
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in an IT-based subject or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform
  • A logical approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical capabilities
  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • An enthusiastic approach to work and self-learning
  • Attention to detail and a focus on process
  • An understanding of business processes and constraints

Relevant work experience:

Have gained familiarity with computers and standard software in the form of a placement year as part of your degree, or part-time work within an IT field. You may have been involved in projects at university or with local businesses or charities, which required you to develop programmes, code and know a computer language, handle data securely, business processes, analytics, or diagnostics.

Things you can expect to get involved with

Building workplace solutions, automating processes, and analysing data on Microsoft 365, using SharePoint and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) and related technologies.

Supporting teammates when required, completing assigned service tickets, and getting involved in team building and community events.

Within your first year start and work towards becoming Microsoft certified in Power Platform Fundamentals, Data Analyst Associate and Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.

You’ll have:

Relevant work experience:

Have experience in the planning, design, and delivery of new SharePoint solutions either as development or native SharePoint projects e.g., SharePoint Framework etc. Assisting customers with administering their SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments, such as ensuring reliability and availability, providing third-level support, aiding with adoption, implementing governance procedures, and monitoring and providing frequent status health checks of our client’s environments. Have taken part in planning for upgrades and migrations.

Be involved in the development of Power Platform solutions built into existing or new environments, particularly around Power Apps and Power Automate. Also be involved in the maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing power platform solutions and the governance of the Power Platform tools.

You will also be consulting, developing, supporting – covering all aspects, product support, development, demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and training of end-users.

What’s needed

We’re looking for a second line IT Support Engineer to act as an escalation point for our first line engineers. As one of our second line, IT Support engineers you will be great at troubleshooting, working to strict SLA’s and happy prioritising your workload. Have excellent customer service and IT skills to maintain our five-star customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive system administration and maintenance tasks onsite at client premises
  • Plan and deliver IT solutions projects for clients
  • Complete in-depth incident/problem analysis and resolution
  • Escalate incidents when necessary to the 3rd line support team
  • Configuration of network printers, terminals, and other devices
  • Effective use of backup and restore solutions
  • This is an operational role, and you should be prepared to work from the office when required

You’ll have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of IT Support experience
  • Excellent first- and second-line support skills
  • General network and server administration, troubleshooting
  • Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Exchange, AD, GP, DHCP, DNS
  • Cloud-hosted solutions (Office 365/ Azure) service and support
  • SharePoint and Modern Workplace knowledge
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCITP, MCSA/ MCSE/ MCP)
  • Full lifecycle project experience (i.e., migrations/upgrades/service packs)
  • Virtualisation technology
  • Have a good understanding of various hardware components, for example, Servers, Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage.
  • An understanding of business processes and constraints
  • Communication skills, including the ability to convey information concisely to those who may have no background in technology
